March 2021 Premium Bonds Holder winners Name Disclose

The NS&I selected two more premium bondholders for the £1million premium in the March 2021 monthly draw: here's read Ali Sami Farooq blog to know how to check if you've been lucky

Two premium bondholders from Bristol and Kent received an unexpected welcome as spring approached by winning the £1million jackpot at the March 2021 draw.

The first winning bond, 306PG138556, was bought in July 2017 this year by a bristol woman, who holds the maximum of £50,000 in premium bonds. Become the tenth jackpot winner from the city.

March's second millionaire winner is a Kent woman, who holds a sum of £40,002 in premium bonds.

His winning Bond, also purchased in July 2017, bears the number 307PX582004 and becomes the 22nd person in the county to receive the highest prize.

How to check if you won

If you own bonds and want to check if you're in line for a prize, you can use NS&I's online rewards check here, or you can download the free app from iOS or Android.

Amazon Alexa devices can also check for you, "remembering" the last six prize draws.

Prizes don't have a time limit, so you can apply until the original 1957 draw.

However, there is also a total of 1.7 million Premium Bonds awards currently un collected, worth a total of over £65 million, ranging from £25 million to £100,000 each.

Bonds are often bought for a child, who later forgets about them, while premiums can also be lost if NS&I doesn't have the correct address for applicants.

Bondholders can ensure that their details stay up to date and also register to charge premiums directly into their bank account by managing their online account on the NS&I website.

Online registration can also prevent premiums from being lost in the mail, with a report last year revealing the extent of those problems.

A Freedom of Information request from Money Saving Expert in April 2019 found that no more than 180,000 awards had been delivered, with a total value of £8 million, of which £66,900 in the previous year.
